 Happy Birthday, Paula
On August 2nd Richie, Paula, Dakota and Sage arrived to spend some time here in Alaska.  Was very good to see them.  So now you know why I have been away for awhile.  So here is our update:

8 3 12  Anchorage, AK
 Richie, Paula, Dakota and Sage went horseback riding in Anchorage at Horsetrekkin.  

The day was young and we then decided to go to the Alaska Zoo.  Very nice park, set in a natural environment and a safe haven for injured animals.  We saw many beautiful animals and was even treated to a show by one of the bears that awoke and had to relieve himself !!!

Happy Birthday Lisa !  Rain once again today.  Did laundry today.  Took off looking for a geocache !!  Spent quite a bit of time looking in the drizzling rain to no avail.  Then we took a ride to Palmer for a few photo ops.

We decided to go back to the original geocache are and take another look.  Shopped in the store then went outside and found the geocache.  On the way back to camp stopped and signed the first geocache that was located on 8 3 12.  One more stop at good ole 
walmart for a cheese cake for Paula's birthday.  So who's birthday can we do next ?  Geez, cheese cake was good !!!  Time to move on tomorrow to Fairbanks......Till next time in the far north......
