Memphis TN
Today we drove from Paducah KY to Memphis TN. Started out with some stormy weather but cleared up to be a nice and very hot day ! Kentucky and Tennessee are both beautiful states. We are now at our campground....Graceland RV Park, which is right across the street from Graceland. Tomorrow we will tour all the attractions.....but will save all that info for tomorrow for you.

Chapel Hill, TN
Tabitha and her family (Sean, Grace, Matthew, and Chase) came over for a few hours today. Rick took us all to the Governors Table for a lovely buffet lunch. There was a geocache in the front of the restaurant which Tabitha immediately found. We took a hike along the Wilhotie Mill trail in search of another geocache. While I was getting prepared to read the description Sean found it !! Good thing as the mosquito's were about to carry us all out of there. They were horrible. I really enjoyed seeing them and the kids enjoyed their day in the "RV". Grilled hot dogs for dinner and streamed a movie from Netflix to watch (Serena). Thus our last day and night in Tennessee !

Chapel Hill, Tn
Went to visit my niece in Spring Hill. Had a nice visit and went out to dinner with the family. Walked downtown Franklin and saw the Oak Ridge Boys motorcoach. Took our picture with Grace in front of it. Came back to campground in dark unsure if we would find the way in the dark. We did !!

River's Edge Campground
Holt, Fl
Uneventful trip from Madison to Holt...Rick jogged way to far today after we got here...got our showers and then back tracked to Crestview and went to Uncle Bill's Restaurant !! I must say they for sure did not let me down...as good as ever and so much that we could not even finish our plates...that's alot saying for me !

Madison, Fl
Made it to Madison Fl. today. First went to Lisa's grave and left some beautiful yellow flowers. Hard to believe she has been gone 11 years ! Went in local store (Fred's) to pick up some water to make my coffee in the morning. Next stopped at Denny's for dinner. Then on to the hightlight of the day....geocaching!! Picked up one near a motel and the other one along a road by the side of the interstate. Came back relaxed watching tv and of course away I went !

Branson, Mo
Went to see Always Patsy...a tribute to Patsy Cline....really loved the show. At 4:30 we went to see the Dixie Stampeed. Nice show and a fabulous dinner....no silver ware, eat everything with the hands. Dinner started with a cheddar bay biscuit then a lovely soup, then a whole chicken, a piece of pork, half a baked potatoe, and an ear of corn. Once that was finished we all had a nice flakey apple turnover. all this was washed down with your choice of unlimited beverage. Show was very showy and lots of fun. Yelled so much the throat started to get hoarse. See what tomorrow will bring !!

Tomorrow will be a sad day. We will have to lay my brother-in-law, Ralph Aldrich to rest. It will be with a very heavy heart that our family will go through the day and beyond. On Sunday June16, 2013 we once again will be on the road headed for Branson, Mo. I hope to continue this blog as we go along. Our sister Linda Cromlish and her husband Richard will be along this time. We have a full schedule so hopefully I can keep up with the blog. Until then.......
